20.8 lbs.

Rather than the Blackstone table, I got the Coleman folding table.
It's aluminum, much lighter, and stores in a carry bag. Shop around, I bought mine at WM for $29.

It may not be an issue, just thinking ahead, maybe overthinking .

ITSNO60 - I don't think you'll miss not having the stand - just set up on that. I use a piece of oil cloth or a towel to protect the table top from grease. This approach saves weight and having to carry a stand.

I like to sit at the table, thus I find a separate table more convenient. Plus grease, I suppose a slight risk of fire.
For you Blackstone fans (I'm one), I always covered the grill at night using the drawstring cover, just in case of rain.
Last trip I discovered some critter had chewed a hole in the waterproof cover. There's no way to repair it easily, so I bought another set. I assume it was raccoons, but what's the solution? I guess keep grease off the cover?? Someone suggested a pie cooling rack sitting on the grill keeps the fabric off the surface. I'll try it.
It may have been my fault, because the last time I used the grill, I forgot to empty and clean the drip tray. So when I stored it in the bag it dripped into the frame making a yummy smell for night visitors.

Poor editing on my previous post - but was trying to say I've always found the end of a picnic table to be about perfect for a Blackstone griddle. I use a towel beneath the griddle to catch the grease. Putting it away clean is a good idea.

Will definitely try going without the stand first. Don't need the added weight and space is quite limited.

Sheet pan cover
We bought a full-size sheet pan (18x26) for a lid to create a “Blackstone” oven for cooking homemade pizzas. Crank up the heat until the griddle smokes, put the pizza on parchment paper on the griddle, cover it with the sheet pan, let it sit for a minute (maybe two), turn off the heat, come back in another five or six minutes. I may have the times off a little so YMMV. The sheet pan fits perfectly. Bought it at a restaurant supply house. What some folks think of as a full sheet pan is just 18x13 and is considered a half-sheet in the restaurant biz.
The sheet pan sits on top of the waterproof cover when the griddle is not in use. A bungee cord might slow down a clever raccoon and keep the wind from blowing it away.

Blackstone vs. Electric Griddle

I love my Blackstone....... Now, if I have electricity and the wind is blowing hard like at the beach, the electric griddle is your friend. The Blackstone (mine is a twin burner 22") doesn't do well in the wind.

I have Blackstone
It works great, if I could recommend three items, to make it that much better.
We added the folding top to our 17" griddle and it helps the meat cook so much quicker. It traps in just a bit more heat for more even cooking. Second consider the extension hose connection. We got a 4'-0" long hose to connect to our propane tank. Those little canister are a bit annoying. Lastly get your shelf a quality spatula. It helps with cleaning the griddle and flipping the food.
Enjoy your cooking.

WillZoom - I went looking for the folding top on amazon that you mentioned but can't find it. Could you send a link for it? Thanks.

That sounds like a great idea! Does your screen name have something to do with pizza? Can I tell my fungus riddle?

Screen name is an old nickname some friends used to call me when I was a teenager (a few decades ago). Haven’t been called that since then, but I tend to use it for all screen names (Home Depot, etc.).
But I do love mushrooms...on pizza, eggs, pasta, etc. DW makes an awesome champignons dish...basically a savory mushroom rustic tart that gets cooked on a pizza stone in the oven. Now that I think about it, I think we’ll try to cook it on the Blackstone before our next trip.
Riddle me.

May be a PITA for some folks but but I just put the cover on mine and set it in the back of my truck at night. (I have a hard lockable tonneau cover). Eliminates the critter issue and keeps it from walking off. I would hope that would never happen but these days you never know.

Got the Blackstone hooked up and seasoned. The adapter worked like a charm!
