8 months full time, total refit on the road

I just discovered there is a massive Airstream forum behind our little Argosy page.
Fantastic resource!
I've been travelling full time in my 24' Argosy for 8 months and can't imagine a finer life.
I'm making it a bit hard for myself by completely refitting the coach while on the road. I love a project.

My blog contains a few pages of the refit.
I should probably put it in a separate blog.

Best cheers
Peter

Welcome to the other side of the looking glass! Are you towing with a Willy's pickup?

It's a Landy... heavily modified. He writes about it on his blog.

Yeah definitely heavily modified. It has a GM 4.3 liter V6 in it………….a lot more grunt than the original. I had a good look at it when he picked up his axles last fall.

Thanks all,

Yes it's a Land Rover 1959, and yes rather heavily modified.

Colin!
Should have known you'd be here.
Swapped the axles in a campground in the Florida panhandle.
Super smooth swap, about an hour!
Coach rose about 4 inches.

There's a picture or maybe two on my blog.

Heading north in a few weeks, I'm going try to catch a few rallies on the way.
Argosy's are welcome aren't they??

Cheers all!

We went to Alumaflamingo a few weeks ago, so we were in your "neck of the woods"……………..kinda. Great to hear your installation went well. Plug-n-play, just like I said
