Skydeck ??
Does anyone on the forum own an AS skydeck?
Are they as much fun as they look like?
When did AS start making them? I saw my 1st one on Ebay last week and checked it out on the AS web site. Now there is another posted for sale on Ebay a gasoline powered model.
Someday, perhaps.

I checked out one of those Sky decks at my dealer.
They list for a measly $ 265,000.00. I thought the downstairs was not that special except for the exterior storage, plenty of that. The Sky deck looked like a lot of fun, however the down side of all of it is the maintenance that would never end.
Hey if I got one for Christmas I would keep it and thank Santa by giving him a drink and a ride on top, raindeer to. I don't think that will happen tho.

Only 18 out there to chose from!
But don't go looking for this luxurious ride on any car dealership lots. Only 18 of the vehicles were made, and the line has since been discontinued for reasons unknown.

We have a 2003 Skydeck - purchased new in April 2004- for a lot less than the sticker price. For what ever reason Airstream had trouble selling them- but we love ours and don't see giving it up anytime soon. Yes they can be a lot of fun- Auto races, beaches, Airshows, fireworks or just about anywhere the weather is cooperative. The roof deck is a great getaway place to relax or a great place to party. And since they are scarce it looks like it will hold its value at least compared to similar vintage traditional motorhomes.

Nice unit but some guys go too far when trying to get their unit level. 
Stops that cool sea breeze from coming under the unit while sitting under the canopy too???
