This weekend I am finding all the Skydeck pics from the net, trying to collect VINs. I am putting them on Pinterest:

Check it out!
I think there may be more than one, but I saw a grey Skydeck when I first got interested in them at
BusForSale.com.
It was $139K and it sold, so I thought the $65,000 I paid for mine was a good price.
Today I
came across a post from
Nomad Airstream that I had not seen before. You would think you could look at things chronologically, but you cannot. It was a posting from Sept. 2012 of a grey Skydeck, similar to the one on BusForSale.com, but no logo on the windshield. Also probably too early to the be same RV.
They said it was to be converted into a fabulous mobile spa on wheels! That was the third Skydeck I have seen at Nomad, the obvious one being the Nomad Airstream (
http://nomadairstream.com/customize/airstream-skydeck/) and the other
we know as Big Blue, who is on this board. Unfortunately there was no other posting about the fate of this spa RV.
Scrolling further in the my search on Facebook for Airstream Skydecks I found:

This is a VERY similar looking corporate Skydeck also without the Windshield logo. It also has no Airstream 75th Anniversary logo near the rear.
But inside they were gutting the RV. It had gone from this:
To this:
The poster was the one called in to take care of the electrical, but he doesn't mention who was doing the rest of the RV rebuild. He estimates that the rebuild alone with propane addition and furnaces and appliances was going to be over $50,000. Yikes! If this one sold for what the other one with the logos went for, that is one expensive Skydeck, though still not as expensive as the Nomad I model my rebuild on.
