That's bad news, my two RVs are disavowed by the manufacturer, my 2005 Leisure Travel Vans Freedom II Serenity (long name) was made by LTV but when Triple-E purchased them they seem to have just not bothered to keep any records, although they can tell you about old Triple-E RVs. I can't even get body panels to repair it. So odd as many of the workers are the same from the LTV days.

Now hearing Airstream, a company around since the 40's is claiming to not have info due to a fire, very disconcerting. The people there did send me a list (posted here somewhere) showing the 27 units of SkyDeck they ever built, seems they never did the same color twice in a year, so if I have the red 2005, your red must be 2003 or 4.

Here are all the SkyDecks I could find back in the day:
https://www.pinterest.com/israndy/airstream-sky-decks/

Includes that SkyDeck consumed by fire, just like Airstream's records. So know that when you are climbing a tall hill with a full load you need to stop and let the engine rest or the fiberglass may catch fire.

All of the seals and gaskets are still available…..:sold by the foot. When I replaced all the front left and right side double pane windows to single pane 7/16” I replaced all the gaskets and weather stripping as well. I’ll get the name of the company and see if I can find the part numbers for you. Regards, Bob

ISRANDY: Yes I did see where you posted the numbers built, I was hoping for any recall information or actual build date information when I emailed Airstream. Specifically Mine is titled as an 2005 but has an airstream tag that says September 2006 and carries the 75th anniversary badge inside which means 2007? Chance someone added the badge? But also all the other 2005's I could find listed ( not many and old listings) show it having the 330hp motor. not sure if it was a CAT or early cummins? Mine has the ISL 8.8 ( yes 8.8 not 8.9 or 9L and the CPL number verifies it) which is the 400hp 1,200ft lbs tq motor. I did contact cummins and it was built prior to the wristpin campaign issues.
What motor do you all have? Maybe I will start another thread asking what other have based on year.

thank you I would greatly appreciate any information you can find. the drivers slide window appears to have the center torn out of the channel that it rides on and leaks there as well will not open and close well. this could be someone's attempt to seal nit sure but I will try and post pictures so see if I am just missing something.

I have the crappy CAT that causes RV fires, but I didn't know the Cummins also has issues. Going up a hill is NO Fun, but it's only as slow as a laden Semi, so at least I have company. My Sprinter LTV is pretty speedy up hills, and my Tesla, well, yeah

Cummins had a recall for some wristpin failures. My understanding is they would typically fail within the warranty period but they covered some outside of it. i am guessing I am on my own being 05 and having 109k miles.

I have only driven mine about 10-12 miles for an out of state inspection now just getting it ready to drive somewhere soon and see if I even like this stuff lol.
