HVAC Control Cable

The heater control cable on my 1998 34' Cutter bent. Does anyone know replacement part source or number? Unit is Ford based.

ACME AC parts has what you need, suggest that you eventually switch over to a DC controlled heater control valve. Regards, Bob

By DC, do you mean a 12 volt system like on modern cars with temperature setting and "Auto" function? Is this difficult to do? The existing unit has a cable control to balance heat/AC and several push buttons that operate air or vacuum lines to floor/vent/defrost etc..

Your dash controls for the heater/ac are a Chrysler product from the 70's. Parts are found at the wrecking lot, or you may try your Chrysler/Dodge dealer. Dodge vans and trucks. The autos of that period used a modified version of same system.

Excellent! I tried the Ford dealer and they were no help at all.
