Clipper, Practise Run, Adrenalin Boost

Finally got out and got a full road test logged in anticipation of a busy 2013 travel season.

Did a 12 mile test last Friday and a full day jaunt today to South Island.

All systems were go except my memory. I overfilled the coffee maker and got to polish the kitchen counter while my coffee got cold. There was not much sunshine today so had to run the genset for a bit to refresh the batteries after lunch.

All my winter updates worked as planned, and we can't wait to get some better weather for hitting the road.

The Sidekick is not licensed at the moment so did not have the toad along. Will have to do that test run when the good weather arrives.

Had an enjoyable day trip to the Alberni Valley Friday to test tow the, new to us, Sidekick that I picked up in the spring.

The 95 Sidekick had come equipped with the Towmaster gear and my existing gear was Blue Ox.

I wanted to continue with my Blue Ox Tow Bar so purchased an adapter bar for the car gear and this was the first chance to test it on the road.

Very pleased with the results.

It sure is nice when you have quality equipment to work with.
