On the Clipper, Airstream used a 28" pantograph wiper with the 'wide base' bolt on blade assembly.
These assemblies used to be quite reasonable to purchase, but not anymore. The prices have got beyond the $30.00 with some quotes above $50.00 just for blade replacement. (
mostly used by RV'rs so why not charge what the market will bear?)
Not many outlets carry refills for wiper blades anymore. However, RockAuto still has some old stock of the TR-71280 refills for the TRICO 67 Series blade. If your metal wiper assemblies are still in good shape, the refills are all you need. Always good to carry a spare, as traveling in remote areas you will find auto outlets give little chance of sourcing a 28" blade on short notice.
The blades usually fail after that hot spell and then the first rain, when the blade disintegrates where it is stuck at the bottom of the windshield.
This is the blade info below. the refills for these are eg:
71-280 (28")
The blades are wide saddle and bolt mounted.
67 Series - For Curved Windshields (Wide Saddle)
Trico's 67 Series heavy duty blades are designed for wide saddle
wiper arms, which are typically found on Class A recreational
vehicles, school buses, transit buses and heavy duty trucks. 67
