Ceiling vinyl coming loose

Our '02 365XC is starting to show some areas in the living room where the white vinyl is separating from the layer above (plywood?). It's. Especially bad when we use the ceiling a/c as it blows air between the layers. Had this problem a couple years ago back in the bedroom, pulled off the plastic "joint" strips, sprayed in 3M adhesive and pushed it back up. Problem was the spray extension was only about 6" and couldn't get into the void all the way. I think it would've worked if there is such a thing as a 3' or 4' extension. I dread the thought of having to remove all the cabinets in the living /kitchen area to pull it all off and replace it. We live in it full time. Any ideas how the pros might attack this?
Thanks for any advice,
Herb and Kathy

I am on the other side of this. Mine is a Skydeck and there was some leakage from all the crud on the party deck. The ceiling pulling down was the only symptom until I pulled on it and found mold (that I had been smelling) and followed it down the wall to the floor. All that wood was rotten, managed to cut out the wood and replace it with brand new 3/4". The floor tiles went right back in place, like no one was ever there, but I now have to figure out what to do about the ceiling.

I did cut it off at the cabinets. I see that it originally went beyond but I am just going to have the old stuff live behind and shove the new stuff in at the front. But I am really looking for guidance on this too as I have taken down the molding around the staircase going up to the roof and the cabinet above the windshield. This is gonna be a major operation putting the new vinyl in.

I've heard of people screwing buttons into the ceiling to hold it up and others that used strips of wood.

I'm confident this sagging can be fixed with spray adhesive, but ONLY if I can rent or buy a sprayer that would have a 3' -4' extension nozzle. By removing the a/c shroud, the ceiling light fixtures, the duct vents, and the interior of the skylight along with the transition strips, I would be able to get all loose surfaces wet with adhesive. Then use a rolling pin to press it all together. But I gotta find that tool!
I really don't want to consider removing all the oak cabinetry to replace this vinyl completely.
I'm hoping that others will chime in as well.
