Yeah, just showed up in my e-mailbox that way. It also calls it an 39F, ??? Not a designation I am familiar with.

I know nothing about them, and have no idea if this is good or bad, but it just popped up in my regular search so thought I would share.

2004 Airstream Roof Patio Motorcoach - $90000 (Madison, MS)
That is a SkyDeck, damn the price is coming down, although I did see one for $37,500 but it was sold, so who really knows what happened in that transaction.
I tried to download and upload the pic from the ad, but I have not been able to upload pics to this forum for more than 24 hours. But for those reading it this week the one pic on the craigslist ad looks like this:
What is with that part of the world, Peter's and mine and now this one all for sale this year. And all for under $100K, this one at 18,000 has barely twice the miles mine has.

Low mileage worries me more the high mileage this are engines which usually last well over 1/2 million miles if well cared for it. Sitting around doing nothing for years is what will do damage to it.
So fare I know saw or heard of 10 and somebody mentioned there only 12 made in the residential version and 16 in the business setup. We should organize a Skydeck rally.

Yay! I am shocked there are that few, are you sure it wasn't that few in a single year? Though I heard early on that there were only 44 ever made so if it was 28 in one year that would have been the banner year. I guess it is possible that there are only 12 regular RVs, amazing that I have one. Were shall we go? I am at the Reno Air Races this weekend. My first big outing.
If we are planning a rally we should do it on the other thread, the Skydeck one.
I was actually kidding about the low milage of mine, as 6000 miles in 10 years and 40 hours on the generator is laughable. Fortunately it has been mostly OK and I had AAA when it failed on the highway.

Air race sounds fun. As we full time I am open anywhere for the Skydeck rally. Maybe we do it with on of the other rallies and make Skydeck section.
Not sure if the is enough interest and if we get enough Skydeck owners to joint.

Was really beginning to wonder why no Airstreams were being posted:

Nada guides, dealerships, similar listings, NOTHING is even in the same ballpark, I mean, the same moho with maybe a 5k mile difference on the speedo and (from the pictures) identical conditions, are $10k+ apart...so, really, I have no idea what my 2000 XC360 DP in damn well near mint condition (plus substantial upgrades in solar and entertainment systems) is even worth?

2000 AIRSTREAM LAND YACHT $72,900 High Ridge, MO
There are a few differences between this year and my 2005, power cable coiler, dash drawer, rear engine vent. But not a lot. Looks like an OK unit, and a less discounted, more reasonable price for the RV in walnut wood.
Unit has a basement TV and central vac

So I only now just watched the Mr. Motorhome guys video of my model....which, btw, they're calling a 39 and last I checked that is NOT a 39'...it's a XC36...I've measured mine....little over 37'...can I label it a 39 and charge more? I'm so freaking confused on what to do with this on the private market. I'm not trading in with a dealer for once (though they have so graciously offered to buy mine back...at a substantial loss to myself and benefit to them...and after learning what he flipped my 5th wheel for....not gonna happen) but seriously, the moho in the video is the same one I have, and my paperwork calls it a 2000 Airstream Landyacht XC Diesel...now, it doesn't mention the feet in the name, but its listed as a 36...the same year they also made the Landyacht XL Diesel, and that WAS 39'...so, are dealerships just confused or is my tape measure broken?
Seriously, 36'-39' is (IMHO) worth a few grand resale wise...

If you have the horseshoe kitchen you have the 39 foot, if it's like the Mr. Motorhome one just above with the microwave at an angle to the coach it's 36 feet long. If you don't plan on trading it in (smart not to) you can put it on Craigslist, though it can take time to be found. I find people loose money posting to eBay and loose time posting to craigslist. Having to polish the RV every day, was a chore. If you live near a big city you can put it on consignment at a local dealer. Then you don't pay storage, but they will take a cut so you will loose money this way, but the additional traffic means you may sell it faster and potentially for more money then you would have on the internet alone.
Seems like the best time of year to sell is just before the season starts. Like Feb/March.
