2005 396 XL Headlight assemally

I would like replace the the yellowed headlight assembly that has the turn signal on my 2005 396 XL Airstream Motor Home. The headlight assembly is two parts, the headlight it self which is fine and the yellowed turn signal section which has SAE (A)12(3)P and P2-92ER Ford at the bottom. On the one on the other side it is DEPO SAE(2)12(3) P and P295DOT. I have searched with these numbers on Google but I can find this set up.

Anyone know What year and model ford these would have been on. I can probably have these ordered from Airstream but though I would try find then online. Thanks

Here is the one I have decided to use. Modern looking like you see on newer Motor Homes.

I am in the process now of removing the 3M clear paint protector shield that was applied to the front of the coach. Here is a shot of the 3M paint protector removed on the left side and the 3M product still on toward the right. This is a difficult project very time consuming and labor intensive. But the results are very satisfying. I am going to start a new thread on the project in the next few days with details on what I am doing to remove this stuff with pictures.

You should be able to click on the picture and zoom in to see the clean shinny left hand portion compared to the old 3M product toward the right. It really looks so much better and the new style headlights should give the coach a modern look.

Rather than start a new thread I added my 3-M removal project to another thread on this same topic.

The new headlights have been installed. What a job, took me 2 full days. It is really hard to get the old assembly out because it comes out in one piece in a very tight space. Installing the new assembly is somewhat easier but still a lot work. If anyone is planning on doing this project let me know and I will provide more details in the removal and installation.

Here are some pictures of the finished project. The new modern headlights look so much better and top off the removal of the old 3-M paint protection. Compare these to the picture in post #1, wow.

You can see a few Airstream trailers and other RV's sitting around my coach. I have had the motor home over at Bob Jones RV here in Houston for service and they let me work on the headlights at their shop. All the tools I needed and a helping hand from time to time.

headlights

Assuming they are the same as my 2003 skydeck, they are from a ford explorer - I don't recall the year, (1999/2000?) but can verify the information next week if you haven't already found the answer.

Headlights are first thing I replaced when I brought her home. Being in collision repair then insurance, I was able to identify lamps off top of my head. Not everyone has replaced dozens of these. Be aware, aftermarket lamps have a broad quality span. Cheaper is not always better. Your local body shop guys can be quite helpful when replacing these. RV's may have come down an 'assembly line', but are much more like custom fabrication because they are basically hand built when compared to automobiles. Body shop guys are typically very good fabricators and can make those minor adjustments and think outside the box. They can make the square peg fit in the trapezoidal hole.
Short answer, yes, 2001 Explorer.
