Winterizing questions

We just took ownership on a 2000 Land Yacht and winter is fast come upon us.
While I have winterize my trailers for over 40 years the Motor Home has some new issues and I am asking for input.
How to winterize the washing machine? it looks like a problem to get to the shut off valves and loosen the hoses to drain the water back. Then the machine pump is another question.
It looks like they did not use 1/4 turn valves on the water heater bypass as the valve will turn 2 1/2 turn like a normal S&W valve. Is that correct?

Is the washing machine screwed to the floor and if so where are the screws?

All the valves on my LY are 1/4 turn valves but I'm sure, even if you have standard valves, the procedure is the same to bypass the water heater and than drain the tank.


I don't have a washing machine in my LY but worst case scenario would be to just start a cycle with pink stuff in the lines. That way it would cycle antifreeze through out the system. In the spring, just run an empty cycle to clear it out.


I'm sure that others here will chime in.
