Turn signals on 2001 Land Yacht

Just wondering if anyone has changed the side maker light mounted just in front of the rear wheels, to a marker/turn signal light and/or added a turn signal light to the front side? This seems like it should be a easy mod by just tapping into the wiring at the front turn signal and connecting up the new lights. Think adding extra turn signals to the side would be a good safety upgrade.

Our 1999 Land Yacht Diesel has turn signal flashers on the outside rear view mirror mounts.
Adding the side marker lights to signals would be great. More in line with other drivers line of sight.

It can definitely be done by running the existing wiring down from the front side marker lights to the center side marker lights, Regards, Bob
