Rear heater not working

I have a 97 Land Yacht widebody 35' diesel.

It has a supplemental heater near the entry steps that is suppose to be activated by a switch on the dash. Its designed to keep the rear seating area warm while driving. I have all the manuals but very little info is provided on the rear heater so unsure where to check first.

I think their is suppose to be a blower fan but have not investigated fully. Can anyone offer tips on this heater and how it should operate?

Update to my original post.........found the heater unit unplugged!!

Removed the 2 grills and first found the carpet to be blocking half of the vent opening. Cut it back and found the power plug simply hanging. Plugged it in, started up the diesel, and it works like new!!
