luggage rack

Hi, I just bought a 1994 34 land yacht. Can you load anything up on the luggage rack or is it just for show? I wanted to put a couple of lounge chairs up there.

Luggage Rack

I've carried stuff op there but I caution you to tie it down well.
It does lots of bouncing around and could damage your roof if
it gets to floppin around.
But when in a pinch it works.

Thanks Paul, I just got a chance to look at the forum. Better off finding other places to put things.

Welcome to the forums.
The sport 16 has a very low weight capacity (700 lbs). After you add the AC, awnings, water and propane you are left with only about 300 pounds. Add food, cloths, pots, pans and dishes you are maxed out. More stuff needs to go in the truck at this point. I don't think the roof of the trailer was designed to carry any loads either.
