Low Profile A/C unit for roof

I'm sure this has been discussed, but my search failed to find it.
It's time to replace the A/C unit on our Land Yacht motorhome.
I would like to know what you found as a good replacement for the
original low profile unit and where you got it. It's the front unit
(the big one) that needs replacing, but I can't handel additional
height. (Barn door clearance problems)
Suggestions? Comments? Endorsements?

Carrier makes a nice low profile AC unit that is 7 1/2 inches tall. It comes in 13.5K and 15K sizes. I put the smaller one on my trailer earlier this year. It looks good and runs great.

Look under Palomino ....I don't have the contact number here....but its in the Forum here. They definitely have the best price and deal with you. I got the low profile Carrier 15000 from them.

It was the best price I could find.

They are in Port Richey, Florida. I have checked, and you can drive up and get your new a/c unit. They said there was a dock charge, but it's much less than UPS.

Thanks for the recommendations guys, I boutht the 7 1/2", 15K Carrier in New Port Richey, FL and will take it to NC and install it iwth a separate electrical cord so an run both on shore power (separte breakers) and then plug it into the Onan for road use. Now the trick is to undo the automatic switching devise that my Roashouse has to keep only one unit running on 30 AMP shore power.

Has anyone looked into "rewiring" their Land Yacht for 50 amp service? I found it bazaar that my 90 LY was wired for 30amp and my 75 GMC was wired for 50 amp (like most modern class A coaches!

I intend to pursue that project, just as soon as I tend to other projects on same. (Something relative to alligators and swamps, don't ya know??
