leaf, coil springs

Trying to smooth out the ride of my 92 legacy. I have all ready put new koni shocks on, new air bags in front coil springs and I am now looking at the rear leaf springs. When looking at them there is no "arch" to them. My past (limited to cars, pickup trucks etc.)experience is you should have a arch with the middle closest to the ground. Even with 90lbs in my rear air bags I have no arch. Ride is rough. Any body notice how much arch you have. Any way of telling if they are wore out? I have talked to a few spring shops and they all say "that old, just replace them." Also, any body prefer new coils in the front as opposed the OEM with the air bags?

I could be wrong here but I don't think it matters much about the rear leaf springs. I am under the impression that the air bags provide the cushion for the ride, not the springs. I look at the springs as more of a pivot and alignment mechanism for the air bags than anything else.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in with some definite answers.

On my ASLY2000, the leaf springs are straight, no arch. I replaced the front bags and oem springs with Hendersons Super Steer springs and alignment. She sails quite nice now.

What is you rear air bag pressure? A local shop told me to run 70# in rear and 45-50# in front. Did you replace the springs yourself? I saw their (Henderson) video on their sight and it does look do-able. I replaced the front bags my self.

I do not have rear air bags. The front coils were put in by my mech as there was a time challenge for me. I weighed the coach and selected the appropriate spring thus eliminating the need for the front airbag, so no more pumping them up. Best move I could have made. The oem recommended 70psi for the fronts,
