"Bump" is commonly (some places) to move your thread to the top so more people will read it and hopefully give you a response!

Not smartass at all! Actually kinda helpful!

Bumping is the action of raising a post from a page or pages back so that people have the opportunity of seeing and responding to it.

All the bumping negated anyone answering your question. Gas mileage will be an average of 9 MPG. Plusses are it is an Airstream and was perhaps built better than most. Minuses are it is a fibreglass motor home and will need strict attention to roof seam sealing to prevent delamination damage. The chassis is a Workhorse P-30 which is common enough and fairly dependable. The engine is a 454 Chevy--very strong and dependable but will probably use some oil. Transmission is Allison and impeccable IMHO. I have driven my 2000 for four years over 30,000 miles, and can say it has no more problems than your average MH but qualify that with, "It has its share!" I will probably eventually trade mine for a small Airstream aluminum trailer but for now it serves our purposes. Best wishes, Frank
