On the diesel model there is no drivers door but it has 3 piece window with bottom slider glass that's level with bottom of mirrors.
There are weep holes on outside but the bottom front window track fills with water if its sitting. Does not do this when driving. Can not find source and very hesitant to drill holes into window frame. Its as if the weep holes are stopped up.
Checked right side window which is identical and can not see any thing different but it never fills with water. The photo attached shows the exterior of the window from distance while it was being serviced.
If you have access to compressed air, try blowing air into the bottom rail weep holes to unplug them. If air is not available, a garden hose will work as well.
This solution did not work. Water is getting into the screen track which has no weep hole. The glass window track does and those weep holes are open. Appears I might have to drill a hole so it can drain to the other side. Water is entering from the area near the mirror so plan to calk that space once it drys out.
Meantime today in a heavy rain the top of the window started leaking which was odd as there is a metal gutter over the top. Will calk those screws and seams when it dries.
If anyone else has had this problem, please let me know your solution.
Think I finally got this problem solved.
1. Caulked the gutter over the window with clear silicon sealing all screw heads.
2. Installed new gutter extensions.
3. Found a gap in the black rubber gasket, not visible from the ground, between the upper fixed window and lower fixed glass next to mirror. It was half inch, filled with silicon and no more leaks...so far!!
