Entry Door Lock Replacement
Hi,
Anyone know a source for a side entry door replacement lock.
I searched the forum but only came up with trailer locks.
I have a 1989 36' Land Yacht.
The lock handle is pulling away at the top inside the finger pull.
It is a flush mounted type with a vertical pull bar inside the flush mounted portion.
Any help much appreciated.

How about a picture?
There is a replacement kit that requires mounting an ugly plate on the outside of the trailer so lets look at repair first

Hi,
Lock measures 5.25" high x 2.875" wide.
Looks to be made out of either pot metal or aluminum.
Tried editing pics to no avail. First & third pics. needs to be rotated clockwise. 5.25" vertical.
Could not see a name anywhere on the lock.
Same lock on drivers entry door except 5.25" is horizontal.
Thanks,
David

We replaced a door latch on our rig that looks like yours. We had been looking for a replacement latch for a long time. We finally found one made by TRIMARK and ordered it from the RV Shop ( www.rvshop.com ). The guy there, Bob McFarland, is great to work with and can find just about anything.
Give him a shout and good luck.

Thanks Guys,
Looks like rvshop.com or John Burkey's SS version are what I am after.
Thanks for the quick responses.

From what I can tell these two parts pictured above translate to TRIMARK part numbers:
TriMark series 030-0450 part number is: 11812-37
TriMark Door Handle And Lock Assembly 11298-35-RH Interior lock 11298 35 030-0425
These may no longer be in production but I found them via ebay. Will update this list after I do the install to see if there are any issues.

By the way those, TriMark part numbers I posted earlier are exact matches to the OEM hardware.
