Engine troubles

Hi! Hopefully someone can help! My 1998 30' land yacht dumped antifreeze into the oil over the winter, I am not sure if it is a head gasket or cracked head or block but I think it could be the oil cooler. Does anyone know where I can purchase or download a manual for the engine or chassis. I live outside of Calgary Canada and do not think we have an airstream repair dealer close, so will have to do it ourselves. ( lucky I have a son who is a mechanic).
Thanks.
Lou

Thanks for the Chassis info. I don't have any personal experience to shear. Our Land Yacht is on the Ford F53 chassis. But we bought the Haynes manual for our model Ford from the local auto parts store and it has been very helpful. They should have a manual for your Chevy.

For starters pressure test the radiator and see if you can see or here any coolant flowing. Listen at the throttle body and if you here anything it could be a head gasket. Do a compression test also to point you to the side that is leaking.

Do not run the engine... the antifreeze will damage the bearings.
If replacing the radiator, I suggest moving away froom the oil cooler in radiator system, and get a seperate unit.

major engine troubles

Hi! Just an update on the engine troubles! The 1998 and one more year had a plastic intake gasket which fails quite commonly, sometimes the coolant leaks outside of the block or in my case into the #1 cylinder, which when the engine was started broke the piston and trashed the cylinder wall. So far I have had an estimate of $15,000 to repair ($9,500 for a crate engine). I hope to find a used engine OR??????.
Thanks.

Keep shopping. that sounds incredibly high, both for the engine assembly as well as the total.
