docking lights replacement

Does anyone use the docking lights on the LY? Have one broken light. The air steam dealer wanted $137. found a replacement halogen from NAPA for $15. Has anyone replaced/modified their docking lights with LED lights? IF so, what did you use? Would LED lights be to bright? Folks in the adjoining space might not like the bright light.

I broke one of mine last year and not only need the light but also the metal frame that holds it in place. Keep us posted if you come up with a viable solution....especially LED.

Not worried about them being to bright...only use is when your trying to navigate a campground at night. Usually my diesel gets their attention quicker than the lights

my docking lights have the stainless steel bezel. was thinking about making a metal or plastic plate to fit within space of the bezel to take up the depth of the bezel, with a 2" square hole in the middle so that I could flush mount a 2" LED light. This way I would reuse the bezel and rubber gasket.
