Decals and stripes

Has anyone had luck replacing the red and blue stripes or the AIRSTREAM letters on the front hood??

Since buying my AS I have taken it to Beacon Truck Wash when possible for a bumper to bumper wash for $35......well worth it. Never a problem.

Last month I took it to an independent truck wash who I discovered after the fact was using hot water in their spray wands. It started making the red stripe on the passenger side peel and eventually came off. Heard about a place in AZ that specializes in replacement original decals but have not made it there yet.

Also, was told that most high end sign shops can duplicate the AIRSTREAM letters for the front. Anyone had them replaced?

We replaced the graphics on our 30' Land Yacht "LE" Cutter a couple of years ago. The graphics where done by a local sign shop that had experience with vehicles, race cars, emergency vehicles, trucks, etc. They did a great job matching the original grapbics.

The hardest and most labor intensive part of the job was the removal of the old vinyl and surfice preparation for the new graphics.
