Crooked Generator
Surely the generator isn't suppose to sit like this.

Seems like every generator I've seen, both Onan and Kohler seem to sit like that. At first I thought the mounts were just sagging but I think I've actually seen factory literature showing those angles.

I don't know, mine sits flat. It is 4KW not the 6.5KW you have, maybe that makes a difference.

Well, that tells me the mounts must sag with age and time (kinda like me!).
I wonder what new rubber mounts cost for an Onan 6.5? One more thing for the to do list

So that begs the question, why is Dan's generator sitting so straight?!

I guess mine is older and must be the CZ version.

CZ is a cheap artificial diamond -- cubic zirconia.
Mine is not only the cheap version, it's not any kind of jewel.

Don't Pooh Pooh the CZ. It was a good solid generator and more reliable then some of the newer models.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not Pooh Poohing it. It's very dependable and pushes electrons everytime I ask it to. It's just simple and plain and doesn't have the "bling" of the Emerald Series.
Cheers, Dan
