Bad odor lingering inside MH
I have a 2003 AS LY with a lingering, nasty odor (maybe sewer gas). I flushed the tanks several times , adding deodorizores and baking soda mixtgure. No success. The odor continues to overtake the interior. I also installed a 360 degree roof vent to replace the standard cheap vent cover. What could I be doing wrong or not doing that I should be. Thanks.

Is your vent pipe clear - no birds nests? Is a sink trap not installed correctly allowing gasses to come back in through there? Do you use the proper chemicals in the tanks to assist in the decomposition and deodorizing of the wastes? Does the toilet hold some water after flushing to seal the valve off?
Good luck - I had a piece of t-paper hold open my toilet valve once and only a crack and we left for the day shopping - not a nice welcome home.

Make sure your propane detector is working. Check for propane leaks. The odor can be mistaken for sewer gas. A pilot light left on with out being lit?

If you have a P-trap in your bathroom sink, kitchen sink and shower, is it possible the water in them has dried, allowing the smell to come back up from the black/grey tank?
How about the vent stack from either/both tanks? Are they unbroken/uncracked all the way from the tank to the roof vent? I seem to remember an earlier thread with someone's stack terminating inside their closet.
Sorry you're having issues! That smell is NO fun!

You know, one time I kept on smelling what I thought was sewer odor in our rig. It drove me crazy -- until I finally figured out that it wasn't sewer odor at all: It was a boiling battery. Turns out that the stench of boiling battery acid is pretty similar to sewer gas. (The problem was that our converter went crazy and would not stop charging the battery.)

Speaking of leaks, water will bring back any smell that disappear on being dry, carpet and wood hold fungus and mold. AS in the 2000 model used wood in walls and floor that isn't pressure treated.
I would do the vent test with water hose full force on roof down both grey and black.
Make sure your toilet flush valve isn't letting air into living space, our fantasitic fan in the bathroom will pull sewer smell into bathroom if it is on while flushing.

Check the LP/Furnace
My 345 MH had a bad odor that I traced back to the front furnace. It was the LP gas. When I ripped out the front furnace and capped the LP, the odor went away.
I also had a large bee-hive in one of my furnace vents!

I had a similar experience. My 95 LS Pusher came pre-plumbed for a washer/dryer combination. The trap in the washer drain eventually dried up and allowed tank fumes to escape into the closet in the bathroom and eventually the whole coach. Happened every time we ran any volume of water down the drain. Easy fix... open the access door in the closet and pour a little water down the drain every so often. Remember to do the same with antifreeze when winterizing!

Bad smells
We too have suffered from this problem. Sometimes when we're on the road an somebody flushes the toilet the green cloud of TOXIC odor takes over.
We've 1. Flushed both tanks
2. Added odor control
3. Changed odor contril chemicals
4. Added a wind roof vent
5. Checked the stack
Help, it's awful. And it's not propane or engine related, it's SEWER GAS!
