Air filter

2000 LY MH 30' Have any of you changed the air filter for the engine. I see a box about the right size under the chassis above the right front wheel with the induction hoses attached, but how do you get access to it? I thought it was going to be a simple job but can't find anything in any of my manuals to locate it. The Workhorse book says: "Remove the clips and change the filter." That's about as clear as mud.

You are in the correct area. I just recently changed mine by raising the front with the jacks and turning the wheel to the left. It was a struggle getting it out, but I'm satisfied that I went to the trouble of changing it because it was definately dirty. I got a replacement at NAPA and paid too much money ($18.00) for it because they didn't carry it as a stock item.
