30' Land Yacht overhang

Still looking for a 30' or 33' Land Yacht--2000/2005. Both models seem to have a substantial overhang, probably 10' or so. Anyone give us advice on issues related to handling? Thanks
Jim

Watch your corners as the rear tends to swing wide. I have a 36'er with tag axles and seem to have some but not as much as you would think on a 36'er.

Mine is a diesel 35' that has skid plates on the rear. Only time they were needed was first time I took it home and had to get up an elevated narrow driveway. Left rear wheel went into a low spot off the drive and skids left a deep ridge in my driveway. Needless to say that was a lesson learned about swinging wide on approach. Otherwise I have been everywhere and no other problems.

jim,
I have a 2001 LY30 and have no problem about handling issues related to the rear overhang. just be alert when backing up and making sharp turns. also don't overload the rear storage comparts weight wise.
