2004 Land Yacht (Gas) Turn Signal Flasher Unit

Can someone give me a hint as to where I might find the turn signal flasher unit on my 2004 LY w/slide. My hazard lights flash (both brake and turn), but my turn signals have quit working both front and rear. I have searched under the dash, but have not located the flasher unit.

Thanks, Sam

It may be on the back side of the fuse panel, depending on the chassis builder.

I believe there is a fuse that controls both the turn signal switch and the backup lights. You may want to check that, as it maybe the fuse rather than the flasher. Just a thought.

Thanks for the replies!

I've checked all the fuses and all are good, but turn signals still do not work.

Do the hazard lights flash?
If so, you can follow the noise, and with any luck, the turn signal flasher will be within a few inches of it.

if it not located in a fuse block you might find it by looking for a 2 wire harness. it is usually located somewhere near the steering column.

who built the chassis? is there a fuse/relay block under the hood area?

The 2004 30 ft Land Yacht with slide is built on a Workhorse chassis and has an 8.1 l GM gas engine. There is a fuse block under the hood. And, yes, the hazard lights all flash correctly.

THANKS for all the input!

Took my rig into the shop and they discovered that the root cause of our light problems was a loose wire in the electrical cord that connects the coach and the toad. The loose wire shorted and caused various blown fuses and blown bulbs. I searched all the obvious fuse panels (under hood, under dash and in one storage bay outside the rig) and had earlier replaced a couple of blown fuses. Apparently, the shop found a fuse panel I was not aware of. I will get its location when I pick up the rig. We should be good to go. Will check it out fully on the next rally.
