2004 30' Land Yacht 8.1l engine hoses?

One of my heater hoses (to my auxiliary cabin heater core) failed last week when traveling back from a weekend trip. After this experience I have decided to replace all of my water hoses to hopefully avoid a recurrence of this moving forward. My question is where to get the hoses? I tried looking them up using a search for the coach, no good. Tried doing a search using the engine, this was successful but not sure if the results are reliable. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/cel-66045/make/gmc
Has anyone else gone through this? If so, please let me know what you did and where you purchased the hoses.
Thanks,
Dan

Dan,
My Landyacht is in the shop right now having all the hoses replaced. I have been losing antifreeze for awhile but only while its driven, nothing leaking while parked. Took it to Freightliner and Cummins for some expensive repairs but it still was blowing out the rear.

Now its at a commercial truck shop and they found all my radiator hoses to be soft which is a sign of age. They swell when its hot and small cracks open up which cause it leak and blow out the rear onto my Jeep. I dont know the source of the new hoses but will drop you a line when I have more info. Suppose to pick it up this week.

Not sure this is helpful or not but maybe search the chassis? 2004 Workhorse P32.

Dudley, the shop replaced all of my hoses that connect to the radiator and some near the heater core in the driver area. Total cost was $165 materials and $520 labor. Once it was opened up they found a huge amount of debris in the radiator which was flushed out. Tech said the hoses came from 3 places, 1 from Cummins with others from a commercial truck supplier and one from Ebay.

After a trip to Jacksonville last week, they stopped the bad leaking which was blowing out the rear and onto the Jeep. However, its still drinking coolant so it goes back to the shop Tuesday for an overnight pressure test. They had already checked the valve gaskets and exhaust to see if it was blowing out or leaking and found nothing. I am suspicious its somewhere in the loop that supplies the Aux heater, dash heater, and water heater. Will keep you posted.

I also suspect the auxiliary heater core, that is where my troubles started. Good luck to us both to get things running smoothly. Stay safe!

Mike, is there some way for you to get me the part numbers on the belts that they used as replacements? Maybe by giving the shop a call when they open back up after the holiday weekend?
Thanks again,
Dan

Dan,
Actually, I am taking it back on Tuesday because I found another leak. Its appears to be on right side of radiator and is leaking while parked.

I will be glad to ask them for a parts list and more info. Do you just need the belts or hoses too? I should keep that for my records also.

After looking at a photo of your Airstream make and model, I know where there is a wrecked unit in a salvage yard that's got photos as of today.

Go to VisoneRV.com

They are located in Kentucky and operate a huge RV parts yard, one of the biggest in US as I was told.

They have a 2003 that was wrecked in the front that's available for parts. Might have several things you need if you look at it closely. Also on that site, you will see the Airstream Jeff Gordon owned that caught on fire outside Atlanta. It was a motor fire but not sure what the cause was determined to be. Will have more info for you by Tuesday.

I can use whatever you have the time and ability to get, we can share all of it here for others to use moving forward.

Wednesday update......102 degrees in Georgia!!!

Going to the shop Thursday AM to chat with them again and will ask more about the hoses.

A new issue for me is my power step is acting weird. Its either the controller or the gear mechanism that makes it shake and fails to retract. As old as it is....I am looking at buying a new Kwikee step gear and controller. They have them at Visone RV so need to order one.

I finally got the list from the repair shop and thank goodness they finally stopped the coolant leak. I'll write an email about that experience.

I could email you the parts list if you want to send me a direct msg with your email.
