Yes! It's done!

I was looking for a 310 in the States and I found an Excella 280 in France...A little bit more easy for me
It came from the Missouri to France in May (if the last owner knows him)
A lot of new parts, a good big block of 16000 miles, new gear box too....what else ( Georges )
How many Classics in France ? in Europe ?...5, 10, 15, no more...

Congratulations on your find! Quelle chance!

The numbers are a previous owner's membership number in the WBCCI. That is the Wally Byam Caravan Club International, a club based in the US that was originally started by the man who created Airstream, to encourage travelling in your Airstream.

Google them, you will see there is lots on the web about them. They also have some forums which are hosted on this site.

Enjoy your new to you MoHo!

Congratulations, and enjoy the 280!
I believe that the only awning that will fit the curved side of an airstream is made by Zipdee, Awnings By Zip Dee
We lost our big awning to heavy winds a few years ago. After pricing a new replacement, I am hoping to run across an old Airstream trailer with a big awning that will fit.

This should be a link to the Zipdee website: Awnings By Zip Dee

On the "For your RV" page of the website, they say that they ship all over the world....

You can contact Zip Dee directly. Go to their website and look for a phone number. There is no automated system, only real people to answer the phone.

Thank you, m.hony, I have contacted Zip Dee directly. Very, very sympathic and professional . They quote me for a complete awning system for my Excella. ($2200 !) Now I have to know what about the shipping because ZD doesn't ship themselves...

Faire attention! Bonne chance.

Nice that you could find a coach there you are happy with, congrats.

If you can find a good freight consolidator to handle the shipping for you it may safe you some cash, good luck

Cheers Richard
