Wiring diagrams for Onan Marquis 7000

I am wondering if anyone has the original wiring diagrams from Airstream on how the Onan Marquis 7000 was wired into the control systems? Specifically, the start stop switches on the dash and interior control panel.

I bought this 1993 Classic 360 back in August with 63 hours on the generator, but a no start condition. It would crank, but wouldn't start. I dropped the generator and determined it was the fuel pump. Replace the pump, plugs, oil and filters at that time. It started, ran great, and we used it on the first driving day of our last trip to keep the fridge cold. The interior controls never worked to start the generator, so I always started with the switch on the generator itself. When we got to our destination in October, I hit the switch on the dash to shut it off and heard it shut down. I was surprised, but hadn't studied the way that system worked. However, when I got outside, I could hear something humming in the generator compartment. I open the door and hit the off button and the humming went away. At the time I assumed it was the fuel pump still running and didn't give it another thought.

We are now planning to leave next week, so I went out tonight to fire the generator up and let it run for a bit. I started with the switch on the generator, hit it to the start position and got nothing more than the humming sound from before. It sounds like it is coming from the control panel itself, but I can't tell for sure. It was dark and cold in the driveway, so it didn't take long to get frustrated. There is no clicking of the starter as before. I tried using the switch on the dash with the generator switch on and got nothing more from that either. I am trying to decide if the starter has jammed or if something has gone wrong in the control panel. However, I don't have the wiring diagrams that the main Airstream book says were included in a separate manual. At this point, I am just kind of poking at things hoping to get lucky, before giving up and pulling the generator out again.

Fuse was still good. It is too dark and cold tonight, but I will try to check the solenoid tomorrow. Just looks like it is a bit of a hassle to get to the other side.

Problem Found!

Starter replaced. Solenoid replaced. I also wired a pilot light to let me know if the start switch was sticking. Hopefully, this won't happen again.

Looks like your starter drive (Bendix) didn’t disengage. That will cause em throw the windings.
