Window seals

Any recommendations out there on where to find driver/passenger window seals for a 325 classic? She's a sweetheart and I finally have her home with a new carburetor. Not cheap btw. But can't seem to locate any replacement seals.

"Fuzzy Schlegle" sounds like some sort of schnapps drink.

Octane, she said that was enough to do both front windows..
Not sure what that "Fin Seal" is, and no, its not on the Website...
I pulled all the seals of my windows and taped them for the storm, but aside from the Fuzzy Schlegle, my windows have the same section rubber seal around the window, and down the vertical section of the sliding glass.

Chime in Andy please?

There is a thread on the forums regarding HOW to install all those replacement parts...a little more effort than procuring those parts...

I did this job on our 310 last fall. I bought all the stuff from Andy except the Fin seal. I don't know why I omitted that but it was a straight forward rebuild & is water tight now. Go for it. A good project----------Pete

Hi Pete,
Tell us, about how long did each window take you to do the replacement? Realized that first window is the 'learning' one, so maybe a bit longer than the second window.
Thanks, Derek

Thanks.
I'm a little "fuzzy" myself at this point since I did my windows a while ago, but I believe the "fin" and "vertical lip" are the inner and outer seals on the vertical bar that divides the driver's and passenger's sliding windows.
There are detailed threads that cover this repair.

Both of my front windows had been completely siliconed shut so I had a lot of time in cleaning & opening & when off I removed all the window tinting.
The fuzzy track was tough to get in there but I probably spent 3-4 hrs each side. Pete

My rear window seal seems to be open at top, heavy rain last few day caused drip in side at top, what to do? Should run a bead of silicone on the outside?

Never, ever, use any type of silicone sealer on the exterior.

Use Vulkem, Sikoflex, or Parbond.

Hi Pete,
Thanks for the update. Ouch to the windows being siliconed shut! Lucky mine hasn't been 'upgraded' like yours.
Thanks, Derek

A PO siliconed the windows, seams, fans, and everything else that might leak...still had leaks, and I never did get all the silicone off...just hope the new owner didn't credit me with the left-overs...mike

This makes me wonder what it would take to replace each and every window, which I know ALL of mine need!
Discovered this morning, after the HARD rains we had in Central Florida yesterday, that I had water 'standing' next to the lamp on the rear shelf window. Guess I need to figure out how to seal that area. Window is 'kinda' protected from the winds, so know that there wasn't any possible way for winds to blow in the water. Any thoughts suggestions?
Thanks, Derek
