What Alde system does Airstream Use.

Hello
Does any one know what model number of the Alde system Airstream uses?
Also what control panel is used also.

Been trying to look up Alde USA but it seems the site is down, anyone have any suggestions.

Thanks

3010 is the model number of the system. So far the heating aspect is terrific, the advise in the owners manual as well as the factory is to set it and forget it. If trailer is cold it takes a long time to heat it up. Hot water is ok. I am not sure of the control panel model, the website and owners manual only show one type, but there are functions available that AS decided not to put on this system like outside temperature.

Personally I would not change from the Classic you have on your avatar just for this system.

Alde system

Thanks for the info, I truly love my 14, have done some personal upgrades. At the present cost of a new one I think I'll stick with mine.

The differences between the 3010 and the 3020 mainly relate to the possibilities of control. In my Airstream Cruiser I have the easier-to-use manual control, without touchcontrol. Am just installing the heating, everything do himself...

You may want to re-post in the Classic trailer section....the Classic motorhome guys are more focused on trying to keep their near 40 year old rigs both able to go, and then stop than 'fancy' hydronic heaters.

That is unless they can be used to get rid of all to surplus heat from the radiator!

For me the "Alde" is ideal: With enough electricity to run electric, with a large heat demand comes to gas, both at the same time. In the summer of hot water with electricity. I have great respect for the gas - my father was in the city of Zurich in the Volunteer Fire Brigade and I experienced many gas accidents.
As a test, I restored a French caravan WITHOUT gas, a Notin Chaumière of 1959th
To cook a kind of chafing dish as for fondue with methylated spirits. The drip tray pan can be heated with electricity. All the insulation replaced with a modern material (x-treme-Isulator) and heated with a Dyson

The 3010 System in the new Classics operates on either gas or electric, Cruiser, however when both are turned on the system choices the electric over the gas. Both can be on, however, the system will run on one OR the other, not both at the same time.
