Value or not?

There is a 1985+/- classic Airstream mh in the Dade City, FL area which the owner is trying to sell for $12k. He has replaced the 454 with what he says is a Detroit 6-cylinder diesel. There are pics for anyone who asks. My question is why so low a price? Any thoughts? I'm not in the market for this one. Jamie

He probably would like to recoup the price of motor install and giving away MH. When you no longer use something, price is determined by market. Maybe he isn't advertising in the right places to find buyer. Dade city isn't a major center of MH sales. I did look at an AS LY MH a few years ago and 12M would have been 10M too much.
Health is a good reason.

29', 1985 all aluminum airstream with a 6.2 diesel engine and a new banks turbo charger and exhaust system. The motor home is in excellant condition. I'm selling it because of bad health. $12,000.00, 130Kon coach & 75K on engine 12-14mi. per gal. Jamie only wanted to know why so low a price, he is not interested in the unit to buy.
Seller might not be happy getting a tire kicker in his condition.
