US Gear Overdrive 1982 310 Diesel FIX

This is the on going saga of my 1982 310 Diesel and the US Gear overdrive unit. It was purchased about 3 years ago and installed in 2010. Took the coach on a weekend camping trip in September 2010 and all was well. Did another weekend in October 2010 and the OD unit would not shift. Put the coach away for the winter and checked the US Gear web site and low and behold the OD unit was no longer available or any support or parts. Now what?

Finally on the July 4th weekend I started looking at the problem. There is a web site that will let you go back in time to see old web pages. I did that for the US Gear site and found ALL the documentation for the OD unit. Trouble shooting, Electrical installation, Operating instructions and a exploded diagram of the unit it's self. Downloaded all of them. Yesterday did the trouble shooting on the Shift Module. It's failed, as it will only put voltage to one side on the shift motor. The OD shift motor has two connections, one for forward rotation the other for reverse rotation. It has to be able go both ways to shift from high to low.

I'm building a little relay unit to replace the Shift Module. Will know by the weekend if it works. I've attached all the documentation, in case anyone else has issues with their unit.

I have no issues with mine, but I'd be glad to add any help. The only thing that ever went wrong with those was the module or the hidden fuses. That being said, improper shifting (or trying to shift without moving) would trash those electronics, but the gear system is bullet-proof.
