Transmission lock/brake

1995 Classic Motorhome. When I put my shifter in "Park" position, the motorhome will still roll. Where/what is the electric switch that engages the brake?

Has the Trans been swapped?
Mine has an Allison 545 in it which has no "Park", it has a hand operated e-brake that can be used as a parking brake. my 545 was built with no Park.

My 310 originally came with a gas engine with trans that included Park, but it is no longer in the motor home. the other option could be that someone broke the park paul in your trans? Did park ever work?

All original everything including tranny. The issue is related to the P30 GM motorhome chassis. There is an automatic park brake that engages when you move shifter into P position. In activates something that uses power steering fluid! I found a diagram in an online service manual, but it's above my understanding. Some body somewhere knows about this, but I can't find them!

That particular system has a very high failure rate and many owner have removed and replaced it with a manual set up.

Now thats funny, since I just made a post about this and had a hard time figuring out what this de-activated system on my 92 350 is. Dan finally figured it out.
