For the first time ever over 13V on the dash gauge. Considering the need for best voltage with ignition on (levelers, air compressor) the need for max voltage is crucial on these complicated rigs.

That's good news. It's hard to charge a battery when the voltage is less than 13 volts going to the battery.

Considering how bad my memory is anymore the odds of me remembering anything from last week let along 2003 are pretty darn slim!

Need some input. This is a relay under the "hood" that is energized by Ignition on and run. I am able to trace the 10 gauge red wire passed the step to the back of the battery drawer area where it disappears in a massive wire bundle. This area also coincides with a big bundle of wires going inside the coach under the sink.
Disconnecting the + feed leaves inconclusive situations. On my 350 the lock mechanism on the dash and keyless pad no longer work, on Chris's 350 it still does.
I think it the feed for the lock module, but why do we get 2 different results?

Almost 1 year to the day since the "project" arrived in Austin on a Flat Bed trailer. Our late Sidekick Tony's comment was: "Peter , what are you getting yourself into, that thing has project written all over"
Well, Tony, I think you would be proud of me, seeing what all I have done cosmetically and mechanically. She runs like a true "Airstream Touring Coach" and all systems are go!
In this spirit, best Holiday wishes!!

Wait, you mean the hard work isn't the enjoyable part? I've been doing this all wrong

Looking great Peter.
Isn't this normally the weekend of the Blanco rally? Are you able to go ahead this year?

Good memory, Martin, yes it is! I did not call it this year for all the reasons. Just a buddy of mine in his trailer and us. Park is fairly full anyway. Next year hopefully should be a go and you may still be floating around the great South West

Had a great shake down trip and know what to concentrate on to make this 350 even more dependable.
One thing that has to go is the rubber hose mess at the new trans cooler, I installed a while back. Seems I can't get the fuel Injection type clamps tight enough. Had another leak and lost close to quart. I even stopped after 10 miles and checked everything, must have happened after that first check.
What is the best Trans cooler without the fixed hose nipples, I can "hard plumb" ?

This is what I put on the 310. Also have a 14" puller fan that comes on at 180 and off at 160, Sensor at line input at radiator.

One of the advantages of having the vertical radiator on the 310, cooler bottom left hand in the photo!
