A bead of Vulkem around the edge to keep the water out and 8 Olympic rivets, shaved, per panel. The diamond plate is .073 Aluminum

After grinding down the rust, I primed the area under the panels with red oxide primer to keep the Aluminum from reacting with the steel.

Ok, zooming in I can just make out the heads of the Olympic rivets.

That's a good fix for the steps. No matter how much you de rust and repaint the original metal is going to continually rust.

Alright another weekend project completed.

I really wanted a day use computer/seating area in the big wasted rear Bedroom Space. Having the big Queen with the 80 gal fresh water tank smack in the middle left few options, besides tearing it all out.
So here we go:

The bed is basically 2 twins with comfy 6" foam. One of the big foam pieces pushed aside, reveals a flip up door. It has a the base of a table mount attached to it. With all the plumbing underneath, I had to create a solid foot space with accessibility to all the lines. The upper portion of the left twin is a convertible seat. The table top is adjustable and installs to the base and is stored in the foot space. Still need to do work to the table top.

After spending some great time in the San Juan Mountains in Colorado, we are taking the long way home via Phoenix to pick up the custom built 4l80e I ordered from Hughes Performance. I cant wait to get it installed this fall. A couple of pictures of camp and 1 of the loaded trans.

it would be a tough Job to get that 4l80E fit behind Bobs 460 Ford, but I know he can do it He may even get the new Derale pan to fit

I installed a basically stock system but used an aftermarket harness rather than try and salvage a used harness.

The tuning was done by someone I found online. Still need to do a little more tuning but am waiting until I drive it on the highway.

I've been having sone driveline vibration for awhile that comes and goes every couple seconds

I bought mine at O'reilly, but returned them after I realized that they need to be pressed on. I took the three part assembly to a truck shop and had them do it and balance the entire assembly. They wanted to use their own hanger bearings. I really don't know if I would have been able to do it with my limited equipment.

The 370LE, bring the largest classic motor home ever made rides on a Gillis heavy duty bus chassis with a real air bag suspension and is powered by a Ford V8 460 mated to a C6 transmission which I upgraded to a E4OD heavily modified , Regards, Bob.......I hope this clears up any confusion.

I mistook a bad front tire for a driveline vibration for quite a while...
