Mike from Holland flew in to check out the 350LE and to finalize the sale.

Bitter sweet I know, but they got a great coach!
Hopefully they keep in touch on the forum!

I'm not really a betting man but I think I this case I might have to place a wager as to whether or not you'll be driving around in another Classic motorhome in the future

Ok, I now have the system up and running in my shop. It consists of 2 x 3.6kWh capacity Battery packs, a backup 1800 gas powered generator. 480 Watts fixed mounted solar panels and 400 watt portable panels to arrive soon.
The 8k AC window unit in the shop and all the ceiling lights easily consume 1600 watts via a 30 amp plug coming from the main unit going to a transfer switch.
I can confirm a run time of 6-7 hours for the AC unit alone and 4-5 hours with all the ceiling lights connected as well.
The time gets extended, by solar charging and the auto start/stop generator, that will kick in at a preset 30%. In my case its set to 30-80%.
With a fuel tank extension for the generator, which I have from my Honda setup, in case of a power outage, this system could power my 25 trailer with a 9.5 btu Air conditioner for many days.
Since all of it is portable, the potential usage is amazing and it would be a viable option for a full generator replacement in a classic Motorhome.

Who needs lights as long as you're cool
Am I correct in assuming the 6-7 hours was from batteries only?

I think you just answered my question about batteries only run time.

How big is the 1800 generator physically?

Call me when you see a 1992/93 250 for sale. Text would be fine, too.

You needed to have added your spare 'rib' and 5ft of body length to pull that trick Brad!

D'oh! I was forgetting the only slightly shorter Argosy sitting next to your workshop Brad.
If anyone could bring the Mountain Argosy back to life it would be Peter.

I would make Peter one heck of a deal on the Mountain Argosy.......if he promised to bring it back to it's former glory

How much will you pay me ? I am going to Bowling Green in June to pick up my new puppy, Frankie. How far are you from there.
On a different note, The panel for the rear top for the 350 finally arrived and I decided to tackle it to have it ready for the new owners. Done this job a few times, but this one was extra difficult. I am now convinced that the Airstream only uses 3 fasteners, rivets, vulkem and duck tape.

You better stop by here, we have a place for you towing or not, would love to have y'all!
Yes with the camera almost 20 lbs, guess they figured it would need extra support!

Thanks for the invite Chris, we just may do that. Still trying to find the best route. We will be pulling our 25' and were thinking to leave it around Nashville and then drive up to Bowling Green to pick up the pups. We are getting 2, one for a friend and one for us. will text you tomorrow to chat about it.

About 3-1/2 hours or so depending on traffic.

some thoughts to consider on your next journey in your Classic MH:
We just returned from Bowling green, Ky pulling my 25' trailer. (Sorry, Brad, no way to go even further east, due the puppy cargo on board) We did however, enjoyed Chris and Brenda's hospitality in Columbia, TN. Thank you so much! Besides having to constantly out run the severe weather or trying to avoid it by changing the route, we eventually ended up on IH 30 going west from Little Rock to Texarkana (exactly the route we would have taken with the 350 if the Petit Jean SP gathering would have happened last fall.
Without warning we ended up in a traffic jam that lasted from 7pm to 2pm, mostly stopped or going 5 mile per hour for 10 plus miles.
The end of that was a forced exit into 1 lane up to a stop sign, only able to turn left unto country roads, which all were lined with thousands of trucks. We eventually found a Hospital parking lot to park and get a few hours of sleep.
The next morning, according to news and traffic info on my phone, we found that nothing had changed. We eventually found news that the Interstate was closed due to a enormous fatal and fiery wreck, involving many 18-wheelers and passenger cars. The Highway department put out a statement that the road had to be repaired and resurfaced, before any traffic could pass east. Thousands of trucks and cars were unable to move just behind the wreck and had to wait for probably 30 hours to get out.
I carefully plotted a route that I thought was safe to eventually get back on the interstate.
This entire scenario and the thought of the catastrophe if I would have been in the 350 (overheating being the main concern) made me think what I could have done to avoid this scenario.
The obvious is an early warning system about traffic and road closures, which my current GPS does not have. I am looking to purchase a RV GPS. that has all those features.
