Very tired of all the crap parts I have to deal with. ACDelco made in China.

Oh come on Peter, that bottle of wine would be a great addition to our "Wine and Shine Night" at the rally this fall!
I agree on the China ACD parts !
Just a better note on some ACD rubber u-joints I bought for the wife's CRX, made in Germany!

about three years (less than 1k miles) ago the PO had his RV shop in Florida inspect the Tag axle brakes. They stated all good to go.

Fortunately, the drum was safe to be turned just one more time.
Thanks Dan, when talking about Tag axles yesterday, for made me realize that I haven't pulled the drums on the tag.

I would say most likely a defective unit given that they are in mechanical. I bought a severe heavy duty unit from Torqflo and it's behaved well.

Found the invoice dated feb 7 2017 in the amount of $168.- to check the rear brakes. "Pulled down rear wheels and found the brakes look like they were replaced already"

Charged the AC as well, after replacing the high pressure line, all the O-rings and had the condenser checked out. I used 2 1/2 cans, does anyone know how much these systems should hold?

Itís a small system .....about 2.75 lbs. if R-12, will be less if youíre using R-134. Use the sight glass in the receiver/dryer for an exact charge.Regards, Bob

Peter, I'm glad you only had to do the job twice!
Its a shame that quality is so low these days. We did a 700 mile trip to Yosemite and back one time on one of my bad clutch fans. On Off On Off On Off. My other half almost refused to go anywhere again in the MH. But, the third try fixed it and all was good!

Dean, Actually I only had to do it once, the real painful way. Installing it originally with the radiator out was a great joy.
New Fan Clutch functions just great. Rarely comes on at speed and is super smooth and quiet.

On another note, I got the state Inspections for the 350 today. took only 10 minutes. I am quite happy with all the mechanical improvement I have made.

My next project is to modify the Generator compartment to fit the Onan commercial 7.0 QG Gas generator I ordered. I had planned on going with the EFI version, but just could not talk myself into dropping the tank yet again to add the additional return line needed. That will be an interesting undertaking.

I also bought another 25' trailer, a 1990, just to keep me occupied.

Peter, I don't understand? What's wrong with the 40 year old model?

Its the Airstream you stayed in, when the 310 got his polish job. The owner no longer wanted to play with it.
