Thanks! That means I may not have to try to get all the plasticizer off with harsh chemicals. This could be the answer!

Thanks!

Thanks! That means I may not have to try to get all the plasticizer off with harsh chemicals. But it probably also means there’s no turning back once it’s done. To change the walls you’d have to replace them.

But maybe I’m ready to do that. Hmmmm.

Thanks!

Eco safety products for goo removal

Hey Guys,
I just discovered this company, referenced in a thread about removing mouse fur, and the challenges of removing the adhesive under it.

Of course, removing the plasticizer on these walls is a bear, too.

Unfortunately, I'm having trouble retracing my steps to the thread, but a company called EcoProcote at this address: https://www.ecosafetyproducts.com/

makes a number of degreasers, paint strippers, and adhesive removers that are apparently very safe and not unpleasant and actually work.

I just ordered 3 samples of each of their products to test them.

My big concern about doing this big a job is how much I'd have to handle poisonous stuff, and I wasn't sure I could do it, for various health reasons.

I'll let you know how it goes. If you've had any experience with these, feel free to chime in.

Hope you find one that works - it's a big job!

Thanks Jerry. BTW, I messaged RV Clinic on Facebook, asking about some of the technicalities of their mouse fur work. We’ll see if they answer me.

Actually, I think I’ll call them! I don’t mind being slightly annoying. Ask my husband!

The owners, Josh and Jessica are two really great people. I'm sure Josh won't mind talking with you, although they are always extremely busy, so you may not reach him right away. When you do high quality work at fair prices, you'll have a line out the door. Pretty simple, huh?
