The loss of a good friend

I have been asked by Tony's ( Isuzusweets ) wife Gabby. To inform everyone of Tony's passing he lost his battle with the cancer he was fighting on Monday night. We have lost a great person and friend.

I only met Tony about 6 years ago but in that 6 years we became best friends. It saddens me greatly to have to write this. I am sure he will be greatly missed by his family and anyone who knew him.

R.I.P Tony my good friend

Sad. I never met Tony, but knew him through his writings on the forum. He was very nice and helpful. My condolences to Gabby and family. He will be missed.

Kindred spirits separated

shepard57, thank you for passing along the unfortunate news about Tony. I've enjoyed reading his posts, always insightful and funny.

I was reading a thread of his earlier in the week and went back a few pages and saw he mentioned starting chemo (last summer?).

Thoughts and prayers to Gabby and family on their (and our) loss. Tony, you will be missed. Godspeed

That news just breaks my heart. I enjoyed many emails and phone calls with Tony and was with him when he bought the Argosy. I kept waiting and hoping for him to inform us that he'd won his battle.

His friendship will be sorely missed along with his spirited discussions.

RIP Tony.
