It is always my Go-To place for questions like this, and others like your Diesel question Mike. Whilst its not completely accurate, its the best there is out there!
Thanks Fred!
Fred's Airstream Archives @ View RV's .com - 1992 Airstream Class A Motorhomes

According to the year listings there, I see the last 345 in 1990..
Now, from 1990 through 1993 there are 350LE's in evidence, that is a 35' old body style... and the my guess is they rebadged the 345 as a 350 by measuring it to the bumber over-riders, or something...
I very much doubt they retooled for 2 years of production!
The later style slant nose aluminim Motorhomes started in 1993, and the last one on the archive is listed as a 360 in 1997.
Steve, the differences I see between the 345 and the 350 is dinette and kitchen switch sides, and somewhat of a layout, and the rear queen now has head of bed towards rear of coach. No idea if an actual half of a foot allows queen bed to be turned from 'east-west' positiion to 'north-south'. Who knows, maybe we can get someone who has a 350 to measure theirs?
Thanks for a great thread, Derek

If 1990 was the last year for the 345, then it would actually be a 1989...I don't think any mods were made after 1989...a clue to when changes occurred with the slant-front model might be traced to acquisition by Beatrice, but I'm not sure when that happened. Usually, design changes and model discontinuations occur with management changes(read: cost reduction).

350 vs 345

I attached a scanned image from the manual.

Ours has the fore aft queen, but that wasn't listed as an option. Don't know if the others are that was as well. OUrs doesn't seen to have the closet/storage aft of the bathroom that is shown on the diagrams.

Let me know if you want me to measure anything.

Key,

I have digital copies of the cummins 6BTA maintenance, Service and Part catalog. Do you want me to upload those as well or are we just looking to put links on the sticky?

Parts

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f160...ml#post1256330

"I finally identified that two big parts are from AS Motorhome, year unknown when I saw an Airstream Motorhome currently being restored at HofArc in Santa Barbara. I noticed that what I have in my garage is front or rear for the parts that are on all four corners of an ASMH adjacent to the bumpers."

Thumbs up Thank You

After many thanks here is one more . I just got , last Friday , a 87 345 with a 454 BB and have many questions . Towing is one the other being the jacks etc. . I found this thread has answered many of those plus more . What really stinks is the old girl is at the shop . The Peoples Republic of Maryland has a inspection she needs to pass . So she is at shop having exhaust replaced with flowmasters and 3.5 inch pipe . Another words the first phase in the fix list . So I can't read and run out to try it . Anyway # thank You for the tech tips .

Another gear head ,

Anyone have capacities listed. How many quarts of oil for 454, Isuzu diesel, Cummins Diesel? As well, how may quarts of transmission fluid for the TH475? How many gallons of coolant would a 345 owner (with Engine Assist and Aux Heater) for complete flush?

I've searched, so far no luck.

Thanks, Derek
