Tap, blow dryer on low to warm the plastic, gently squeeze and remove, held in opposing channels by tension. I do not recall which bulb, but I have an led in bulk link from amazon for them all if you send me conventional bulb number.

I actually have a rig that looks identical to yours and just went through the process of changing the bulbs in the same fixtures.

I used ebay as my source and in those light housing there are two sizes of bulb, both have the same tailpiece and searching eBay for 1156 led bulbs with give you a bunch of options. 1156 is what was stamped on my larger of the two bulbs. For the high setting I went with a 28 led option and low an 11 bulb.

At first I went with a natural light led 3000k because I liked the warm glow of the current bulbs but when I received them they had a green hue to them so I went with 5000k and they are brighter and look better then the 3000's I had. There are different qualities of leds but the ones I received were about $12 for sets of 10.

Matt, any chance you could provide the link for the 5000K 1156 28 and 11 LED bulbs that you used?

I've been doing the search on there and there are a million of them, and I can't seem to find the ones you mentioned.

I have also bought a couple other bulbs but, the links are old and no longer work.
The bulbs I used for overhead bright lights from Yitamotor are;
10x white 1156 BA15s Le 27-SMD $14.88 Light BulbsTail backup RV Camper bright bulbs interior
These are bright white when illuminated, some folks don't like the bright white but, I like them really well and at a buck and a half each you can't go wrong.

The way these are fastened on to the wheel is the best system I have ever seen.

Turns out my memory isn't what I thought it was. Here are the two sizes I purchased.

Quality is decent, though I don't know if I would use them in an outside fixture. There are better bulbs but they come at a price. Overall they have improved my battery life because when the front kitchen/seating area is lit up there are 18 bulbs going.

Some people prefer the led panels like this link, I haven't tried them but I'm assuming they may throw off more light as the LEDs are all facing one direction.

I would maybe try buying enough bulbs or panels to do one or two of the fixtures to see if you like the look and go from there. I did that to figure out which hue looked better to me.

I want to replace the lights soon with LED so that my coach batteries last longer.

Argghhhh!
Just when I thought I finally had a healthy Airstream that I could actually go on trips with, I ran into mechanical issues again and got stranded by the side of the road again, getting towed AGAIN!





I was hoping to take it on a trip this weekend and was driving it in preparation for the trip.

All was going great, and then suddenly the radiator cap blew off, fluid splashed all around it and huge clouds of smoke and steam filled the cockpit and outside.

SO frustrating!!!!!!!!

If I had an Airstream trailer instead, it would be pulled by a modern, healthy, normal tow vehicle. *sigh*

I just had to vent.

...and apparently, so did my radiator.
