Hey,
I waited for a hot day, took a razor blade and got a corner of the decal. If you go slow, it will come off. Also, the aircraft stripper is good stuff. It lol eat plastic too. Like your 1/4inch trim inserts. And banana wraps too.
I used rust oleum black night metallic. It's pretty close to the gray stripe. And it has enough metallic in it,but not to much to make it look like paint. If you put a lot of coats on, it'll get shiny, but if you go, say two coats, it dulls up just enough to make it look like the decal. I painted my lower cabinets the same, but about 4 coats. Same look, just shineyer. DJ
