Southern Unit over Northern

Good day! In my search Iím finding so many variables of varying weights itís tough to compare for a newbie. Iím evaluating 345s with the intent to live in one full time at least a year, not on the road though. For example one pristine babied by one owner low miles original decor a few appliances replaced, needs tires and checkup no wear no corrosion. Another with new engine complete interior modern remodel no jacks, no awnings and northern corrosion and needs generator. Is a super clean unit more valuable than one with underbody rust/ age? And another with 50k miles, some updates, new generator, full polish etc... Replacing carpets, flooring and fabric can be done for a few grand.. all units within $6k of each other Iím leaning toward the super clean one refitting new tires and getting all rubber checked. Thoughts... I canít find keyairís buyers guide to download still looking

1) I don't like the bigger coaches(325, 345, 350's) due to the tag axle, and the problems that will cost you.

2) A northern truck would be better, HOWEVER, if that northern coach is driven in salt conditions in the winter to get to the warmer conditions, all bets are off. A true, not driven in winter, northern coach, like mine, is a good bet.

3) A southern coach that is kept inside out of the sun is also a great find, and they do come up for sale occasionally.

4) It will all come down to, how the coach was maintained; how often it was run, and price. Don't jump on the first one you see; be flexible with your budget as paying more for a well kept coach could save you thousands later on.

The hunt is the best part; enjoy.
