We had issues with high pitch whistling from the air coming through the area between the sliders. It got so that we had to wear hearing protection because it was so uncomfortable. With the new seal, the whistle is gone and we can once again converse while driving

I looked at it and felt that this might happen, whilst observing the gap change between the windows in various positions. So I took more whiskers material and added it to the sliding window. I tucked it under the brown U channel at the edge of the glass and glued it in place with that 3M super window seal. I then got some black vinyl from my wife’s scrap booking supplies and covered the inside edge there so you can’t see the glue.
Now when the window closes you have two fuzzy seals there to keep the wind out.
Picture shows this in progress.
