Road Trip
Got the 95 (Dog House One) to a point where I can stock the frig, check the tires, and hit the road. Heading north tomorrow then east. No plans, schedule, or reservations other than ending up at my folks place in Michigan in about 5 days. We'll hang out there for a month or so.

I am so jealous! When I get back from this business trip, I plan on taking a month off as well. Trying to figure out where to go in NOV, and am thinking Florida, but also considering California.

Its very green! The lawn finally dried out enough to mow. Still dumping snow in the hills. I'm actually enjoying the rain.

Despite my kicking and screaming, the northeast passage around Lake Superior was overridden by orders from Centcom. Had to re task Doghouse 1 to a high speed trip on I80 to my folks house. To be fair, we have to deal with some medical issues.
We do the return trip on the norther route. Probably crowded campgrounds, black flies, and skeeters...

Still camped out at my folks place. We are actually staying in the house. We got my mom mobile again and are working on her medications and PT. I posted some work I've done on my on the Airstream in the mechanics corner. My dad is a retired machinist, welder, and mechanic. The old shop is still in place.
Yesterday, they presented my nephew with keys to his new home. Amazing support from this small community for a wounded warrior.

I'll fly to Colorado to work the last two weeks of June them back for the 4th and our trip home. We should have about 8 days to make the 1500 drive back through the UP, Minnesota, and the Dakotas. Campsites might require a bit more planning in July that they would have on the here in May.
