Replacement heater blower/fan for old Airstreams

Wow, this was difficult. The heater blower motor on my old Excella finally gave up the ghost. Old threads here suggested a few places to look but no joy. I finally found Four Seasons Corp who had a few models that should have worked but they all rotated in the wrong direction, even though their website said they would rotate CCW when facing the shaft end. The standard Chevy P30 blower motor of course was wrong for our Airstreams. Finally worked with a fellow at our local Carquest and he fished out one motor/fan assembly that we hooked up to my battery and it turned in the right direction! Blades on the fan actually looked sort of kind of like the original ones. It fit like a champ and blows lots of air through my heater defroster. It's a Unimotor model 35337 made in Canada no less. One of these days you are going to need one of these things, and now you don't have to go through all the grief that I did. Four Seasons lists that number in their catalog too, so I don't know where the real source but you can buy them anywhere for less than 20 bucks.

There is a good chance this blower won't work on a 75 Argosy motorhome. Airstream changed the heater system frequently over the years as they changed dash layouts.

I know the 75 model Argosy is different than the 77 model Argosy and I'm fairly certain the 77 model Argosy is different than the 82 Airstream.

Based on location and your Argosy details, welcome to the forum Laurie.....you will find several familiar names/faces here!
