Plastic Dash Parts for 1987 345
I am currently in the middle of a complete interior restoration on our MH. After getting at least most of the mechanical issues behind me and a few mechanical "extras" added time to refinish the inside before next season. Anyway, while removing the leather dash cover to get it replaced, I broke the plastic trim that surrounds the passenger side A/C vents. Actually it kinda fell apart as I worked around it. Anyone got any ideas where I could get a replacement?

John,
Sorry its taken me so long to reply. Been on vacation with the family. I appreciate the info on the dash parts. I don't think Dodge or Chevy parts will work because I believe the dash is A/S. I will check it out. I will also check with the dealer you recommended and I thought I would contact Inland RV. As for the dash pad, I bought alot of Ultra Leather and took that along with all of the interior to a local upholsterer. He is also going to make the dash cover out of the same stuff. I picked up the dinette cushions today and they looked great!!. I am looking foward to getting the rest of it. I am not looking foward to re-carpeting the front area of the coach though. Good Luck. Also I found a source for the ultra leather at well below retail if your interested.

I would seriously consider doing away with most of the carpet and replacing it with Pergo-or other brand of linkable wood flooring, or possibly cork with at least two layers of a polyurethane sealant...tile works for some folks, but doesn't last very long...a friend suggested bamboo...that's pretty darned durable...mike

Thanks John, I will definately give them a call.
ScrapIrony-2 I started on the floor today. We are placing new carpet in the bedroom, bath area, and living room foward. The entry way, kitchen, and dining area is snap together wood flooring I got at Lowes. Starting to look really good. Not looking foward to re carpeting the very front of the coach though!!
